BRUT Light



Part of “Brutaal Afgeleid’ series

For my graduation project, I took inspiration from an architectural style called Brutalism. After extensive experimentation and research, I was able to create these light fixtures. The light shining through the gaps is meant to resemble the illumination from buildings, maintaining a connection to the architectural inspiration.





Experiments with intentional rusting resulted in an organic structure that pairs well with the geometric exterior.
